Violence is preventable
For too long, victims of childhood sexual violence have been silenced, stigmatized, and shamed, whilst perpetrators have been exempt from justice. We CAN change that. Childhood sexual violence is the greatest scourge of out time, but there is hope. With prevention, healing and justice, together we can make a safer world for all children.

Advocacy efforts to end childhood sexual violence can be both incredibly difficult and deeply rewarding. It is rarely easy, and it can be re-traumatizing. Collective action and community care are indeed essential in addressing and ultimately ending childhood sexual violence. Our co-founders share the impact of the Brave Movement and the immense support that makes them no longer feel alone.

Ending childhood sexual violence requires immense strength, persistence, and compassion. The journey is often challenging, but we can create real change through collective action and community care. Hope is the foundation of change. Brave Movement members share the powerful impact and overwhelming support the movement has given them, which has made them feel less alone and brought them a step forward in ensuring every child is protected from childhood sexual violence.

The Brave Movement, through its survivor-centered approach, has provided survivors and allies with a powerful sense of community that has amplified their needs and lived experiences and greatly advanced their advocacy efforts. Together, survivors have helped with healing and promoting prevention and justice to build a safer world for children to be safe.
