Benjamin Holman

Victims services specialist, Children's Advocacy Center of Central Texas

Benjamin Holman currently worked as a victims services specialist for the Children's Advocacy Center of Central Texas. His passion for his work and advocacy is born directly from my experiences as a child victim of sexual violence, assault, and rape for 13 years by his maternal grandfather.

He has worked with RAINN in the US to represent the needs of victims and their families. Benjamin and his story were featured in a documentary called ‘Man Enough To Heal’ which highlights the experiences and needs of male survivors. In his spare time, Benjamin enjoys hiking with his wife and taking care of his two dogs and cat.

"As a male survivor, I find that there are precious few fighting for us. Most importantly, I want to fight to make this more than something awful in my life. When I do anything to help a brother who has suffered, I have victory over my abuser"
