Mirella has 7 years of experience in developing funding proposals for various public and private donors in the fields of violence against women and girls, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and global health.
Before joining TfG, Mirella worked at Girl Effect as a Senior Manager of Partnerships, managing proposals for high-value foundation partnerships and building the capacity of colleagues in proposal development.
Prior to Girl Effect, Mirella worked at Options Consultancy Services Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marie Stopes Reproductive Choices, in the business development team, bid managing contract and grant proposals for bilateral and multilateral donors such as the UK Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) and the World Bank.
Mirella also spent several years in proposal development roles at Refuge, the UK’s largest specialist provider of domestic violence services in the UK.
