Rosalia is a consent educator and child sexual abuse prevention specialist, sexual literacy advocate, TEDx speaker, Chair of the SAGE organization, the founder of CONSENTparenting™, host of the AboutCONSENT™ podcast, and creatrix of CONSENTwear™. She is also a CSA (child sexual abuse) survivor.

As a CSA survivor/thriver and parent, from a family of survivors, she discovered how triggering it was to learn about abuse prevention when it was time to educate her own kids once she became a mother. Determined to break the intergenerational cycle of abuse, Rosalia dedicated herself to her healing so she could overcome the anxiety and triggers that kept coming up when learning about abuse prevention so she could teach her kids. Through the process, she learned that no programs spoke specifically about the survivor experience. This prevented a large percentage of the parenting population from educating themselves and their kids, thereby increasing the perpetuation of the cycle. That is when she created and founded CONSENTparenting™ and launched her AboutCONSENT™ podcast, dedicated to survivors and those who support survivors to share interviews with experts in the field of mental wellness, trauma, and survivors/thrivers.

She has helped thousands of parents through her various social media platform content, well-reviewed workshops and programs, and public speaking and presentations. In 2021 she spoke at TEDx Oneonta on the topic of dismantling rape culture, as well as at the well-recognized yearly industry conference IGNITE by Darkness to Light on the topic of survivor/trauma-informed abuse prevention education.

In 2019, Rosalia was awarded a Hay House Diverse Wisdom Program scholarship to begin working on her upcoming book, a guide to abuse prevention for survivor parents. Rosalia has been featured on CNN, CTV News, Univision 34 LA, ABC7, Telemundo, BeLatina, and Thrive Global. Rosalia has also published articles for BoldLatina and Motherly.

Rosalia is certified under Conscious Parenting Mastery with Dr. Shefali Tsabary, Ph. D., as well as the Canadian Centre for Child Protection® COMMIT TO KIDS® Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Training Program and the Stewards Of Children® Training by Darkness to Light, as well as OnWatch™ Certified.

"Until now, a sense of community has been the missing element but the movement brings together a collective determination - we are fired up with our synergy and are ready to bring this issue out. Being survivor-led, public, and forward facing we are standing in our own power - this will be transformative; shifting social norms, de-stigmatizing, and dismantling the taboo that surrounds this issue. I wake up feeling inspired by the possibilities of the movement and that it is happening."
