Sophia Luu is a freelance designer, researcher, and survivor-activist focusing on childhood sexual abuse intersections. She founded Secrets Worth Sharing to promote conversations on this topic with 'serious joy'. With expertise in Inclusive and Trauma-Informed design, she advocates for diversity and radical intersectionality in addressing childhood sexual abuse.
Sophia launched Secrets Worth Sharing in 2023 after her workplace hired a convicted child sex offender. The platform includes podcasts, events, film clubs, and workshops promoting positive and trauma-informed discussions. She has worked with various clients and delivers public talks on radical joy in these conversations.
"Central to my ethos is recognising that survivors are more than just their abuse, and highlighting the joy that is brought through addressing these conversations in a more positive, and trauma-informed way"
